Machine parts must be produced with great precision so that they fit precisely. As a chip removal technician, you are an expert in this area. In this profession, you will produce metal components on electronically-control production machines (such as CNC milling machines). In order to achieve the required precision for the machine parts, you use various chip-removing procedures such as milling, grinding,drilling ... you will also learn to programme, operate and repair the tool machines required for chip processing.

APPRENTICESHIP TERM: 3 1/2 years

Well-founded knowledge of mechanics, all processing techniques and extensive CNC training
Produce components on computer-supported and conventional machines
Basic knowledge of electricity and electrotechnology
Adaptation, commissioning and repair of tool machines for chip processing
