The specialist in panel-dividing technology, Schelling Anlagenbau GmbH, has been chosen to supply the newest cut-to-size plant ASH to the company Hobb. The specialist for cut-to-size high-grade veneer components invest into a new Schelling cut-to-size plant at their Hobb Holzverarbeitung production facility in Bad Bentheim (Germany) to cut the cores on site. Schelling offers here the optimal solution. With the core competence on high-grade veneer cut-to-size components and the cut-to-size technology from Schelling, the company Hobb is able to combine cutting and pressing of veneer components in one location.
Newest technology
The cut-to-size plant consists of an ASH with rip cut and cross cut saw, turntable and fully automated sorting and stacking plant. Loading the cut-to-size plant is fully automatic. The stacking patterns are completely independent of the cutting patterns. The motor power of the main saw is 75 KW, the maximum book height is 210 mm.
The concept of the plant was designed for highest performance and has many custom features which have been tailored to the customer’s requirements. The cut-to-size plant ASH is the newest innovation made by Schelling. The angular plant with automatic stacking will have a total capacity of up to 60 m³/h in 2 shifts. Commissioning is planned for autumn 2008.
