designer

As a designer, you will plan projects in tool construction, mechanical engineering and steel or metal construction and implement them constructively and graphically. For this you will use computers and computer-controlled systems (CAD = Computer Aided Design, CAM = Computer Aided Manufacturing). With this data you will programme the mostly-automated production machines, stop and monitor them. In this high-tech profession, you will also be trained to assemble the individual components, optimise the tools and machines and commission the machines.
