As a mechanical engineering technician, you are a pro when it comes to installing systems and machines. Your tasks will include the removal and installation of machine elements, as well as the production of spare parts. You will read the information for this from manufacturing and assembly drawings. Among your tasks will be also the inspection, commissioning and monitoring of the process flow of systems. If interruptions occur, you must analyse these and eliminate them. You will also learn to program and operate computer-supported tool machines.

APPRENTICESHIP TERM: 3 1/2 years

IMPORTANT TRAINING CONTENT:

Well-founded knowledge of mechanics, pneumatics and CNC technology Programming and operation of computer-supported tool machines (CNC) Assembly of controllers: pneumatic (operated with air pressure) and hydraulic (operated with liquid pressure)
Basic knowledge of electricity and electrotechnology
